L2/Haystaq national models are built using a combination of large-scale survey research, voter file data, consumer and demographic information, geographic and census-level indicators, and real-world behavioral data such as turnout and vote-by-mail activity. The underlying survey data were collected nationally in early 2026 through a mix of live phone interviews, IVR, text, email, and online panel responses. Models are validated using holdout samples that are excluded from the training process to ensure predictive accuracy and stability across the national voter file. Scores are designed to estimate the likelihood that a voter agrees with a given issue position, behavior, or attitude and are updated on a rolling basis as new data become available.
