IMPORTANT: YOU MUST SIGN AN L2 DATA USAGE AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THIS INTEGRATION
Unlike other L2 integrations, Google does not maintain a direct billing relationship with L2. To activate this integration, you must first contact your L2 representative or email integrations@L2-data.com to obtain and sign an L2 Data Usage Agreement.
This agreement requires monthly reporting of all L2 audiences activated on Google (including Google Ads, Display & Video 360, and other Google marketing platforms). For billing purposes, you will only need to provide the total number of monthly impressions delivered using L2 data. L2 will then invoice your organization based on this total. For example, at a rate of $1.50 per thousand impressions, a campaign delivering 100,000 impressions would result in a charge of $150.
How to Use the L2–Google Integration
Step 1: Create a Universe
Build your selections in L2 DataMapping and save them as a universe once complete.
Note: You do not need to purchase data within L2 to use the Google integration.
Step 2: Transmit the Universe to Google
Go to the Transmit section in the L2 platform. Scroll through the integration partners and select Google.
Step 3: Enter Your Google Account Details
Click “Enter Details.” You’ll be prompted to add:
- Your Google Ads Customer ID or DV360 Advertiser ID
- Google Client Name
- Package or campaign name
Just above these fields, you’ll find important setup instructions required to ensure L2 audiences—delivered via LiveRamp—populate correctly within your Google accounts. Follow the linked LiveRamp guidance for full distribution setup.
You may select “Remember this value” to save your IDs for future sends.
Step 4: Wait for Your Audience to Appear in Google
Once submitted, your universe will be processed and delivered into the appropriate Google account.
If your Google Ads or DV360 account is properly configured, your audience should populate within 1–2 business days.
